Siberian Taiga

  • Siberia is located in Eurasia

  •  The normal temperature of the taiga is 50°F.

  • Long winters last up to 6 months.

  • There is not much precipitation in the Taiga.

  •  The summers are short, they last about 50-100 days long.

  • The rainfall in the Siberian Taiga rains about 13-33 inches.

  • The biggest problem in the Taiga is deforestation.

  • Global Warming is causing more forest fires in the Taiga.

  • The Taiga helps humans build hyperbolic dams.

  • A non-living limiting factor in the Taiga is the lack of rainfall. If the plants don't get enough water they will die.

  • Another one is forest fires. Because if there are too many forest fires most plants can't grow back fast enough for the animals to eat them.
